I'm sure that everyone has encountered various online cartoons either through that friend who is constantly finding random forms of entertainment or just stumbling across them when procrasting. I was first introduced to Salad Fingers my freshman year and have been oddly obsessed with the cartoon ever since. It creeps me out but I eagerly await the next episode. I think that online cartoons becoming more and more popular because of their acessibilty and a good idea when looking to waste 5-10 minutes. Below I posted the link to Salad Fingers and another website to find that perfect cartoon for you to waste 5-10 minutes of your time.

Shock Culture

There seems to be a new wave sweeping across the internet. This is the idea of Shock Culture, where it seems that we are trying to show people the most disgusting things that we can imagine or catch on videotape. This may have started on TV, starting with reality bloopers, moved to Jackass and now has Youtube and Youtube spreads the word on other videos or pictures across the internet. What I am referring to is reactions to certain films that I am sure others have come across. These websites are so disgusting that I will not post the address or what the name of the reaction videos are. All I am wondering is what is the deal with this new Shock Culture. I do not like it; however, it is like a train wreck, I keep on looking.
