Probably one of the funniest books I've ever read is "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell"... a definite example of straddling the line between real art and pop culture. Regardless you guys should check out Tucker Max's blog if you haven't already...

I usually don't read books that are story based, but Tucker Max does such a great job telling his stories that I had a hard time putting the book down. Even after I'd finish one of the short stories I'd immediately read the next one. Also, I've heard that there will be another book very soon. I think some time in the next few months or so.

Tucker Max's book is really entertaining. Although a lot of the stories in the book are a little over the top, I'm sure a lot of college students can relate to a lot of the situations. This book really serves no purpose except to entertain it's reader and possibly show our children how messed up we were.
I must say, and I'm not an angry feminist or anything, but Max's book does say something about the literary dredge America is now inundated with. The book can be quite funny at points, Tucker Max has an alarming amount of wit, but I don't think listing your sexual exploits in a rather crude manner should be considered a "great read."
